Diary of a wimpy kid
Hard-Luck
by Jeff Kinney Is a fictional story written as a dairy of a boy called Greg as
he starts at middle school; it is a book in a series. Characters in the story
are Rowley, Greg and Abigail.
Greg
is looking for a new friend as his best friend Rowley has a girlfriend and has
no time for him. He tries to make Rowley jealous by finding a new friend so he
can get Rowley back.
He
leaves the lunch table, as he cannot stand Rowley and his girlfriend and ends
up down the hallway.
It is
a good easy read with humorous dialogue and some great drawings to illustrate
points in the story.
The
story is written to teach us that girls may come and go but bros are forever.
Greg and Rowley learn that their friendship is more important than anything,
especially girls.
Diary
of a wimpy kid hard-luck is a great book to read even though it is part of a
series it is a stand-alone story and you do not have to read any of the other
books for it to make sense. I
recommend this book to anyone because it does not matter what book out of the
series you start from because this one is a lot different.
